Good start. Remember, when doing PBL, there always has to be a presentation to family, friends, and community members (a big audience). What will they be presenting?
I was thinking students would produce a live weathercast in front of friends and family. This would include students covering weather forecast, weather headlines across US, why we monitor the weather, and how we monitor the weather. Students would prepare like actual weather men and present this information to an audience. This is just one thought, and definitely open to suggestions.
